David Walsh of Melbourne a Student Senator at The College of St. Scholastica

David Walsh, child of Gabrielle Walsh, from Melbourne, has been elected a Student Senator for the 2011-2012 term.

Walsh is a Senior majoring in Psychology/French. As a member of The College of St. Scholastica's Student Senate Walsh is a Collegiate Affairs Senator.

The Student Senate is responsible for allocating student funds, planning events on campus, and being representatives for the student body.

The College of St. Scholastica is regularly recognized as one of the finest colleges in the Midwest. The 2012 "America's Best Colleges" survey by U.S. News & World Report magazine ranks St. Scholastica in the top tier of Midwestern universities.
