Melissa Marvin of St. Stephen a Student Senator at The College of St. Scholastica

Melissa Marvin, child of John and Lisa Marvin, from St. Stephen, MN has been elected a Student Senator for the 2011-2012 term.

Marvin is a Junior majoring in Pre-medicine/Biology. As a member of The College of St. Scholastica's Student Senate Marvin is a Student Senate Vice-President.

The Student Senate is responsible for allocating student funds, planning events on campus, and being representatives for the student body.

The College of St. Scholastica is regularly recognized as one of the finest colleges in the Midwest. The 2012 "America's Best Colleges" survey by U.S. News & World Report magazine ranks St. Scholastica in the top tier of Midwestern universities.
